社交媒体中流行打卡,似乎只有在打卡点拍过照片才算来过,人们只关心照片是否出片,文案是否松弛且具有煽动性,以至于连海边的厕所都能成为网络知名打卡点。KOL们与社交媒体不断的对“地标”进行训练,人们争先恐后到往一个个惊奇的“景点”,摆出相同的姿势,写下雷同的文案,这犹如在训练一个大模型,挺搞笑的。我收集了大量来自中文社交媒体小红书中有着AI生成感的照片,通过MAX进行视觉混合并通过现场实时表演合成视频。
It seems that the only way to get there is to take a picture of the spot, and people only care about whether the picture is good or not, and whether the copy is fluffy and provocative, so much so that even a toilet on the beach can become a famous spot on the internet. It's hilarious to see how KOLs and social media are constantly training “landmarks” as people scramble to get to each “attraction”, strike the same pose, and write the same copy, as if they're training a large model. I collected a lot of photo from Chinese social media Xiaohongshu which look like AI-generated, visually blended them with MAX and synthesized them into videos through live performances.

A Predator, A Prey 一个捕食者,一个猎物

3年前Youtube一段名为”Leopard attacks neighbours dog at my Home“的视频流传开来,这个视频迄今为止已有3571万次播放,它讲述一只猎豹偷偷潜入居民家中并袭击了该住户的看门狗。我的作品便是通过Stable Diffusion技术来重新演绎了这个视频过程。作品名称A predator, A prey便是AI绘图所用的提示词,通过让AI绘画参与重新绘制视频的每一帧画面,整个视频随着提示词相关性(CFG Scale)与重绘幅度(Denoising strength)的数值由低逐步调高,最终呈现一场AI的狩猎故事。这场狩猎过程与AI生成图像的起伏变化是作者探讨人工智能的“生成美学”这种全新的美学表现方式。同时呈现一种情绪感受,一种危险又迷人的感受。
Three years ago a youtube video called "Leopard attacks neighbours dog at my Home" went viral, with 35.71 million views so far. The video is about a leopard sneaking into a resident's home and attacking his guard dog. My work is a re-enactment of this video through the Stable Diffusion technique. The title of the work, A predator, A prey, is a prompt for AI drawing. By involving AI drawing in redrawing each frame of the video, the entire video is recreated as the CFG Scale and Denoising Strength values are gradually increased from low to high, resulting in an AI hunting story. The ups and downs of this hunting process and the AI-generated images are the author's way of exploring the "Generative Aesthetics" of Artificial Intelligence as a new way of expressing aesthetics. At the same time, it presents an emotional feeling, one that is both dangerous and fascinating.

早上7点,闹钟同时叫醒世界上亿万的人,人们都有同一个“目的”,都被推向同一“方向”,这是一场谁都无力抗衡的龙卷风。《人龙卷》是我动物世界系列作品,由多组AI生成的视频组合成。创作启发于我对人们追逐流行,报复式旅游,从众心理,上班,挤地铁,人们为了融入不同的社群开始打扮的一样,甚至通过手术和药物让自己和他们长的一样,做一样的事,穿一样的衣服…等等一些列的我对周围事物的观察和感触。而这种疯狂的人类视觉奇观,我认为通过AI生成的画面能很好的表现这荒谬又怪诞的我们。
At 7am, the alarm clock wakes up hundreds of millions of people around the world, all with the same "purpose", all being pushed in the same "direction", a tornado that no one is able to fight against. This is a tornado that no one can fight against. "Human Tornado" is my animal world series, the video is 1 minute long, 1:1 scale, composed of several AI-generated videos. The idea was inspired by my observations and feelings about people chasing fads, revenge travel, herd mentality, going to work, crowding the subway, people starting to dress the same in order to fit in different communities, even making themselves look the same as them through surgery and drugs, doing the same things, wearing the same clothes...and so on and so many other things around me. And this crazy human visual wonder, I think the images generated by AI can well represent this absurd and grotesque us.

我对海报的热爱,使我不断的尝试它的可能性。在这个时代下,纸质媒介受到了许多新的电子化媒介的冲击,人们对纸质媒介的需求也随之受到了影响,海报势必需要拓宽其表现的新方式,这使我体验到了一种使命感。
然而这种运用多种媒介做海报的过程,需要时刻提醒我:“这还是一张海报,它不是动画,也不是广告片,更不是互动游戏。”需要保持住一种内化的语言,而外化的呈现只不过是一种方式。此时我设定了做“7秒钟”动态海报的规则。我希望人们能在7秒种的时间内接收到海报的完整信息,希望能有一种统一的内在语言把需要传达的信息持续的传递出来。而我在交互海报的考虑中,希望自己能探索出一种人与海报之间更加灵动的传播关系。而不像交互游戏式的扁平与单线,完成海报作为一种传播的使命。
My love for making poster inspires me to explore its possibilities continuously. In this digital era, the paper media has been adversely affected by new electronic media. Consequently, the poster is bound to broaden new ways of expression, which then makes me realize a sense of responsibility.
However, the process of using multiple medias to do poster always reminds me that what I am doing is still a poster, not an animation, nor the commercial or interactive game. Designers need to keep connotation in design language, and the expression of alienation is nothing more than an approach. For this reason, I formulated the rule for moving poster called "7 seconds", which means people are meant to receive the complete information of the poster within 7 seconds. Also, I hope the internal orders in the poster can convey the information consistently and positively. Taking the mission of interactive poster into consideration, I expect that I can explore a more flexible relationship between viewers and posters instead of the compressed relationship developed by the interactive game to complete the mission of communication.
